Make plans to run/walk at the Springs Sprint 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Ga. This year's course is faster and will be run throughout campus and adjacent neighborhoods and will be all on paved streets.

Registration is $15. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. with the Fun Run beginning at 8:30 a.m. and 5K beginning at 9 a.m. The start/finish will be located at the Taylor Building. Registration is also available online at www.active.com.

The first 100 adults to register will get a T-shirt. Awards will be presented to Overall M/F, Masters M/F, and top three M/F in age groups beginning 10 and under through 75 and over. Finish line timing provided by Classic Race Services with complete results posted online at www.runningintheusa.com, www.active.com, and www.coolrunning.com .

Directions:   Emmanuel College is located at 181 Spring Street, Franklin Springs, GA 30639. The Taylor Building is located on Spring Street across from the gymnasium. The college is convenient to Athens, Ga., and Anderson, S.C.
